Job summary

Clarion Housing Group Limited is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to cover Chichester, Guildford, Bracknell and surrounding areas. You will report to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager and manage pre/post-inspections and reporting for responsive repairs, voids and cyclical works.

You will plan repairs to meet cost, time and quality standards, carry out surveys to determine condition and defects, perform major void inspections and ensure KPI-aligned delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3.
• Member of a relevant professional body such as RICS or CIOB.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre/post-inspections and reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs.
• Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance and construction work to meet cost, time and quality targets.
• Undertake building and technical surveys to determine condition and identify defects and risks.
• Carry out major void inspections and ensure work meets KPIs and make recommendations from survey findings.

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team covering Chichester, Guildford, Bracknell and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager you'll be responsible for pre/post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and with internal and external stakeholders.

You'll plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver according to cost, time, and quality standards. We'll look to you to undertake building and technical surveys to determine the building condition and identify defects and associated risks. You'll carry out major void inspections and ensure that work is completed in line with KPIs and make recommendations based on survey findings.

It is essential that you have a Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3 and are a member of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CIOB.
