Job summary

Dakota Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team in a busy hotel environment. The role requires strong supervisory abilities, a solid understanding of health and safety, and hands-on maintenance across multiple trades.

You will manage planned and reactive maintenance, ensure compliance with legislation, and work closely with Housekeeping to maintain guest rooms and public areas to the Dakota standard.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a maintenance-based role with a broad range of tasks.
• Experience in trades such as tiling, plastering or plumbing.
• Fully computer literate and confident using maintenance or compliance systems.
• Experience in accommodation-based environments such as hotels is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, high workmanship standards, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks across trades as required.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure the building remains well-maintained and compliant.
• Ensure tasks and projects are completed to high standards and on time.
• Maintain and update planned maintenance and project schedules.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping to uphold Dakota’s standards in guest areas.
