Job summary

Dakota Hotels is seeking a practical Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Glasgow. You will carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks across the building, ensuring high finishing standards and compliance with safety regulations.

With at least two years’ experience in a maintenance-based role, you will be computer literate and comfortable across trades such as tiling, plumbing, decorating or joinery.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a maintenance-based role.
• Fully computer literate.
• Experience in accommodation-based commercial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks across the building.
• Ensure that fabric is well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations and legislation.
• Keep planned maintenance and project schedules up to date.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance and Housekeeping Manager to maintain standards in guest areas and back-of-house facilities.
