Job summary

Dakota Hotels in Manchester is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a range of maintenance tasks and ensure safety standards are met across the property. Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a maintenance-based role.
• Trade specialisms such as tiling, plastering or plumbing preferred.
• Fully computer literate; confident using maintenance or compliance systems.
• Experience in accommodation-based commercial environments (hotels, housing) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with high workmanship standards; able to guide others.
• Good understanding of health and safety protocols and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks across trades.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to keep the fabric compliant and well maintained.
• Ensure tasks meet timescales and high finishing standards.
• Keep planned maintenance schedules up to date.
• Work with Housekeeping to maintain guest rooms and public areas; perform planned and reactive maintenance.
