Job description

The Mechanical Supervisor is a key role within the Maintenance team, supporting the safe operation of assets, plant productivity, and reliability. As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and oversee Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and Shift Maintenance Technicians.
• Be responsible for all mechanical maintenance tasks, ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance, including industry standards such as ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, and cGMP.
• Work closely with operations to meet customer quality requirements and prevent cross-contamination.
• Manage Mechanical Maintenance activities, including breakdowns, preventive maintenance, compliance work, and defect resolution, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation in the CMMS system.
• Supervise the Mechanical Maintenance team, allocate work, review work packs, and ensure RAMS are adequate.
• Coordinate with the Planning & Scheduling team and Site Engineers to improve plant reliability.
• Contribute to root cause analyses and continuous improvement activities.
• Promote a positive SHEQ culture, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained during all maintenance activities.
• Supervise external OEM contractors and support projects and changeovers as needed.
