Our site in Worksop is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader.
What You'll Do
- Take overall responsibility for leading a Maintenance team to achieve repair and maintenance activities, safety standards, legal requirements, and customer expectations. Coordinate with all manufacturing and service groups to meet customer demands. Drive performance to meet or exceed financial and strategic goals. Motivate the team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team in line with customer expectations to achieve KPIs such as reactive maintenance downtime, TPM, and OEE.
- Act as the site LOTO, TPM, and electrical safety subject matter expert. Lead training initiatives and refreshers, ensuring annual validation of competencies.
- Maintain maintenance policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, prepare revenue budgets, and identify areas for improvement, including capital investments.
- Utilize Eaton Business System tools (e.g., Management of Change, Problem Solving Techniques, Lean Principles) to support the plant in achieving world-class performance.
- Drive manufacturing initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Qualifications
- HND or equivalent in Engineering, preferably with an electrical bias.
- Multiple years of related professional and supervisory/managerial experience.
Skills
- Trained via a recognized industry apprenticeship.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- Significant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Competency in deploying LOTO, TPM, and OEE.
- Knowledge of injection moulding machines, power presses, and high-speed automation (preferred).
- Experience with maintenance management systems (e.g., Production).
- Leadership, coaching, and change management skills.
- Analytical thinking and ethical mindset.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to plan and execute work initiatives effectively.
