Job Description:

Purpose

The Mechanical Supervisor is a key role within the Maintenance team to support the safe operation of assets, plant productivity, and reliability. As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and oversee Mechanical Technicians and Shift Technicians.
• Be responsible for all mechanical maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Work closely with operations to meet quality standards related to ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, and cGMP, including contamination prevention.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards during all maintenance activities.
• Manage the Mechanical Maintenance team, allocate work, review work packs, and ensure documentation in the CMMS system.
• Coordinate with the Planning & Scheduling team and Site Engineers to improve plant reliability.
• Handle all Mechanical Maintenance activities, including breakdowns, PMs, compliance, and defects.
• Ensure timely completion of work and proper documentation.
• Manage team timekeeping, holidays, disciplinary issues, and support the Maintenance Manager.
• Develop job packs, RAMS, and schedules in collaboration with the Maintenance Planner.
• Participate in root cause analyses and continuous improvement activities.
• Promote a safety culture and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
• Supervise external contractors and liaise for inspections and future maintenance planning.
