Vickerstock are working in partnership with a local family business that has grown to become one of Northern Ireland’s success stories to assist them with the recruitment of a Maintenance Supervisor. This is a new position to the business due to expansion plans, investment and an internal promotion.

Your New Role as a Maintenance Supervisor:

• Lead and inspire the Engineering team by providing clear guidance, training, and performance management to ensure targets and KPI's are met, while offering mentorship as needed.
• Conduct regular machinery and equipment inspections to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to collaborative forums.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures aligned with production management to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime, ensuring optimal machinery efficiency.
• Support factory expansion projects, including planning and executing machinery and equipment installations.
• Oversee the Maintenance department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.

What You Need to Succeed as a Maintenance Supervisor:

• A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the food or beverage sector.
• Strong expertise in industrial machinery, mechanical and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and foster collaboration.
