Job summary

Reeve in London is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee engineers across a growing portfolio of commercial properties. You will lead, plan and execute maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and high standards while providing hands-on technical support and coordinating with contractors.

This hands-on supervisory role focuses on first-time fixes and efficient operations, with a proactive approach to health & safety and compliance in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

• Proven commercial maintenance and engineering experience.
• Strong technical and fault-finding skills.

• Excellent communication, organisation and client-facing skills.
• Proactive approach to health & safety, compliance and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting engineers and specialist contractors.
• Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and reactive repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs with focus on first-time fixes.
• Managing contractors, site inspections and maintenance related works.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing maintenance team, overseeing engineers across a portfolio of commercial properties in London.

This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone technically strong, confident working independently and able to lead engineers and contractors. You’ll be responsible for keeping systems running efficiently, while providing technical support to the wider maintenance team.

All our maintenance roles are foot mobile, and no driver's license is required.

You will be:

• Supervising and supporting engineers and specialist contractors.
• Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and reactive repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs with a strong focus on first-time fixes.
• Managing contractors, site inspections and maintenance related works.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

About You

• Proven commercial maintenance and engineering experience.
• Strong technical and fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently.
• Previous experience supervising engineers or contractors.
• Excellent communication, organisation and client-facing skills.
• A proactive approach to health & safety, compliance and preventative maintenance.
