Job summary

Derby Homes are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Investment and Maintenance Team, providing enhanced technical assistance. The role includes testing lighting, water and alarm systems and accurate recording of results.

It also involves crime prevention surveys and installing security devices such as locks, window alarms and CCTV. Records must be kept of installations and instructed parties, while supporting other projects to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in technical maintenance or installation tasks.
• Ability to work to current regulations and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Test lighting, water and alarm systems and record results accurately.
• Undertake crime prevention surveys and install security devices (locks, window alarms, CCTV).
• Maintain records of installations and who instructed them; assist on other projects to ensure compliance with regulations.
