Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Limited is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler at its Darlington site to oversee daily, weekly and monthly maintenance planning. The role requires coordinating across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain to optimise plant availability and reduce downtime.

Typical duties include preparing work orders, validating resource availability and ensuring compliance with permit-to-work procedures, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling or coordination in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Experience using CMMS systems (SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, IFS) and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and communicate maintenance schedules for plant assets.
• Coordinate maintenance activities across production, utilities, warehousing and site infrastructure.
• Lead scheduling meetings with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure schedule compliance with permit-to-work requirements and safe systems of work.
• Monitor backlog, KPIs and provide maintenance reports for site leadership.
