Job summary

Pertemps Tm in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to coordinate engineers across HVAC, plumbing and electrical sectors, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

This role requires excellent communication, scheduling and problem-solving abilities, with previous experience using Job Logic software being highly desirable. Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm (40-hour week).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Planner, Scheduler, Service Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience using Job Logic software.
• Experience scheduling engineers in HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical sectors.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience resolving scheduling and operational issues effectively.
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate engineers across HVAC, plumbing and electrical disciplines.
• Manage client calls and maintenance requests.
• Plan reactive and planned maintenance to maximise efficiency.
• Resolve planning issues to minimise service disruption.
• Coordinate permits and ensure documentation is in place.
• Liaise with subcontractors as required.
• Provide progress updates to clients and maintain relationships.
• Prepare and manage quotations for maintenance and extra works.
• Order materials and parts for engineers and projects.
• Arrange meetings and workload planning sessions.
• Proactively schedule future maintenance works.
• Address client concerns and provide solutions.
• Monitor contract performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Support engineering teams through clear communication.
• Assist with training and development.
• Maintain records within internal systems.
• Ensure projects finish within timescales and obligations.
