Job summary

Aspris is seeking a Support Services Manager to oversee maintenance, catering and housekeeping across multiple school sites in Frome, Somerset. You will lead diverse teams, ensure compliance with independent school standards and health and safety regulations, and liaison with the estates team and headteachers to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and operations.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-site coordination, and delivering a cohesive service vision across support

Qualifications

• Experience in leading multiple service teams within a school or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and procure services.
• Experience coordinating facilities management across several sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, catering and housekeeping teams to deliver high performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and policies.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and timely statutory inspections.
• Manage external contractors and service providers efficiently.
• Coordinate with estates teams and headteachers to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Prepare reports for governance on compliance and operations.
