Job summary

Aspris Care is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the North West Care Maintenance Team across a range of children’s homes. You will ensure safe, well-maintained environments and manage maintenance operations in-line with Aspris policies.

The role involves supervising maintenance staff, coordinating external contractors and driving improvements to high standards of upkeep, safety and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience gained within a facilities, operational, trade or maintenance role.
• Health & Safety knowledge including asbestos awareness.
• A full clean driving licence

Responsibilities

• Leading the North West Care Maintenance Team and providing effective management to team members per Aspris policies.
• Supervise other team maintenance operative(s).
• Ensuring that the homes are maintained to a high standard.
• Help and advise site staff in maintaining grounds to a decent standard.
• Coordinate works undertaken by external contractors as necessary.

Education

Level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical, mechanical or building trades with JIB status

You and your team will be based at one of our maintenance hubs, where you will be provided with the necessary equipment and support needed to complete your duties. The role will manage maintenance support across a suite of our children’s homes.

What experience do you need?

• Experience gained within a facilities, operational, trade or maintenance role.
• A relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification within one of the key electrical, mechanical or building trades with Joint Industries Board (JIB) approved status.
• Health & Safety knowledge including asbestos awareness.
• A full clean driving licence
