Job summary

BSW Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering function at their Ellesmere Port site. You will drive plant reliability, safety, and performance, overseeing mechanical and electrical teams, and delivering a robust PPM strategy to improve uptime and OEE.

Working with Production and Site Leadership, you will ensure engineering supports operational excellence, manage budgets and contractors, and coach engineers to continuously improve through structured

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Strong mechanical & electrical knowledge.
• Experience with PPM and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead health & safety across all engineering activities
• Develop and manage PPM schedules
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and OEE
• Analyse breakdowns and implement root cause solutions
