Job summary

Staffline in Chichester is looking for a reliable Maintenance Projects Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. The role supports the introduction of new equipment, coordinates maintenance activities and drives projects to on-time delivery.

The role offers a salary at an hourly rate up to £25.72, with overtime paid at enhanced rates. Working Monday to Friday, 43–45 hours per week, 7am to 3:30pm, on-site with canteen, uniform and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in maintenance.
• Experience in maintenance, production, and planning.
• Excellent organisational, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for technology planners with technical advice for delivering projects.
• Raising the RFQ and ensuring compliance with the Machinery Directive, which encompasses the safety-related elements of machinery, through to mechanical design, electrical design, controls, safety measures, and safety components.
• Advise on requirements for documentation, training, critical spare parts holdings, and service agreements.
• Ensure business processes are followed in the procurement of production equipment, with specific responsibility for all maintenance aspects of the new equipment introduction process.
• Ensure the correct use of status and financial trackers to provide transparency of delivery dates and service confirmations.
• Agree actions to safeguard equipment technical availability.
• Suppliers - Agree timing plans for maintenance training and spare parts, ensure suppliers adhere to plans, and escalat as required.
• Change Management - Responsible for the implementation of changes to existing processes, acting as a liaison between maintenance technicians, planners, OEMs, and production.
• Implement process improvements with process partners to achieve high levels of equipment performance.
• Communicate project status transparently to all levels of the organisation through various forums, as required.
