Job summary

White Energy - Hereford, TX is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support maintenance operations by planning and coordinating parts, materials, and equipment access. This role emphasizes timely procurement, inventory management, and coordination with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining parts inventory or accounting skills.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, equipment drawings, and P&IDs.
• Experience with preventative maintenance software preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Knowledge of general office equipment required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to maintain good relationships with internal and external customers, use tact and diplomacy, and possess a customer service focus.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills, negotiation skills, dispute resolution, and ability to overcome obstacles.
• Manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to anticipate needs and accomplish necessary tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders for ordered parts and services.
• Inspect received orders for accuracy and then receive purchase orders with correct items and quantities.
• Maintain an adequate spare parts inventory and generate purchase orders.
• Negotiate best prices and lead-times with suppliers.
• Forecast monthly expenditures and track budgets.
• Track inventory transfers and coordinate with Hereford warehouse.
• Safely operate forklift and maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate shipments and receipts of plant assets and parts.
• Coordinate month-end accruals with accounting.
