Job summary

Mitchells & Butler s is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative (Plumber/Carpenter bias) to travel by company van to pubs and restaurants in the Amersham/Beaconsfield area. You will perform general maintenance across multiple sites, with a typical 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, and flexible hours to suit personal commitments.

You’ll handle plumbing, joinery, painting, tiling, and related tasks, manage parts and stock, and document work in the IT system.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled trade role including plumbing and/or joinery, or a main trade such as plumbing or carpentry.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Flexible approach to tasks and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to 40 sites across Amersham/Beaconsfield area using company van.
• Perform general maintenance: plumbing, woodwork/joinery, painting/decorating, tiling, pest proofing.
• Order parts, manage van stock, and log jobs in the IT system.
