Job summary

Mitchells & Butler plc is hiring a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative (Plumber / Carpenter bias) to travel to pubs and restaurants across Edgware and London using a company van. You will handle general maintenance tasks across ~40 sites, with 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-skilled trade including plumbing and/or joinery, or with one relevant main trade.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to tasks and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Ability to work to tight timescales.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic cold-water plumbing, fix toilets and leaks.
• Woodwork and joinery tasks as required.
• Painting and decorating to maintain pubs/restaurants.
• Floor and wall tiling where needed.
• Pest proofing and occasional larger works (fences, kitchens, bathrooms).
• Order parts, manage van stock, and log jobs in the IT system (training provided).
• Build relationships with Area/General Managers to optimise service.
