Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a maintenance-based role with varied tasks (tiling, plumbing, joinery, etc.).
• Fully computer literate.
• Experience in accommodation-based commercial environments (hotels) preferred.
• Keen attention to detail and high finishing standards.
• Ability to work at pace with little supervision.
• Solid understanding of health and safety protocols.
• Enthusiastic and culture-fit for a positive team environment.
• Flexible with shift patterns and availability.
• Demonstrated interest in our brand and joining the team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks within your skillset, including light plumbing, tiling, light joinery, PAT testing, grouting, and silicone work.
• Action schedules to ensure the building is well-maintained and compliant with legislation, completing necessary checks and records.
• Ensure tasks and project work are completed to high finishing standards and on time.
• Keep planned maintenance and project schedules up to date.
• Work with the Maintenance and Housekeeping Manager to uphold Dakota Hotels’ standards in guest bedrooms and public areas.
