Maintenance Planner – Shutdowns & Outages

Job summary

SUEZ in Tees Valley is seeking a proactive Maintenance Planner to own the planning and coordination of all planned maintenance shutdown activities across the site, delivering three annual outages safely, on time and within budget.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement and Contractors to ensure resources, materials and schedules are aligned, with detailed work packs, permits and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• organised and proactive planner with an engineering background.
• Proven maintenance planning experience including shutdowns/outages.
• Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Project.
• Experience in contractor management, procurement and inventory control.
• Health & safety qualification such as IOSH/NEBOSH is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed shutdown and maintenance plans using MS Project and CMMS.
• Manage shutdown delivery by controlling scope, critical path activities and planning meetings.
• Monitor outage performance, update schedules and lead post-shutdown reviews.
• Coordinate engineering, maintenance and contractor resources, creating work packs with permits and risk assessments.
