Job summary

The Billingham Energy from Waste facility, part of SUEZ UK, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to own the site’s three annual outages and support day-to-day maintenance planning. You will coordinate Operations, Maintenance, Procurement and Contractors to deliver outages safely, on schedule and within budget.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will develop detailed shutdown plans using Microsoft Project and CMMS, manage scope and critical paths, and drive continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship or ONC or equivalent.
• Maintenance planning experience in heavy industrial environments or outages.
• Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Project for planning.
• Experience with contractor management, procurement and inventory control.
• Health and safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed shutdown and maintenance plans using Microsoft Project and CMMS, ensuring scheduling and resource allocation.
• Manage shutdown delivery by controlling scope, critical path activities, progress and planning meetings.
• Monitor outage performance, update schedules and lead post-shutdown reviews for continuous improvement.
