Job summary

SUEZ is seeking an organised Maintenance Planner to own planning and coordination of all planned shutdown activities across the site, delivering three annual outages safely, on schedule and within budget. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement and Contractors to ensure resources, materials and contractors are effectively coordinated, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum ONC or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience with maintenance planning in energy from waste, power generation, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with contractor management, procurement and inventory control; health and safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to coordinate multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed shutdown and maintenance plans using CMMS and Microsoft Project, ensuring scheduling, resources and plant availability.
• Manage shutdown delivery by controlling scope, critical path activities, progress and planning meetings.
• Monitor outage performance; update schedules and lead post-shutdown reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate engineering, maintenance and contractor resources; produce work packs with job plans, permits, risk assessments, resources and spares.
