Job summary

W Talent are delighted to be partnering with an established FMCG manufacturing business based in Sheffield to recruit a Maintenance Planner on a temporary basis. You will coordinate planned and preventative maintenance across a busy site, ensuring resources and parts are available to complete planned works.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work with Engineering and Production teams to schedule maintenance, manage the backlog and coordinate contractors, while driving improvements in

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Experience in manufacturing environment, FMCG preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventative, planned and corrective maintenance activities across site.
• Coordinate maintenance activities around production requirements to minimise disruption.
• Manage and maintain the site maintenance schedule and engineering backlog.
• Liaise with Engineering and Production teams to ensure planned maintenance is completed within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate external contractors, ensuring work is appropriately planned and site requirements are met.
• Ensure spare parts, materials, tools and resources are available ahead of planned maintenance activities.
• Raise, manage and close maintenance work orders through the site CMMS.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure relevant documentation is completed.
• Monitor planned maintenance completion, outstanding work and maintenance performance.
• Support the Engineering team with maintenance reporting and performance data.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning, scheduling and engineering efficiency.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of preventative maintenance programmes.
