Job summary

EMR is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the Liverpool site. You will coordinate and optimise maintenance across fixed and mobile plant, equipment, and facilities to improve uptime and ensure safety and compliance.

You will develop and maintain PPMS and CMMS systems, support planning strategies, track performance metrics, and work with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance planning experience in a manufacturing or processing site.
• Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and CMMS platforms.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, able to work independently.
• Proactive, analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Flexible approach with ability to handle varied tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan all maintenance activities across the site to minimise downtime and ensure safety compliance.
• Develop and improve CMMS to enhance scheduling, resource planning, and documentation.
• Support the Maintenance Manager with PPM strategies, shutdown planning and work orders.
• Track KPIs such as completed work orders, delays, breakdowns and costs.
• Communicate maintenance updates across departments and manage spares requirements.
• Liaise with Engineering Stores to ensure stock availability.
