Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a proactive Maintenance Planner to join the Rogerstone Meals engineering team. You will plan and manage maintenance to maximise uptime in a fast-paced FMCG environment, coordinating with engineering, operations and supply chain to keep production running smoothly.

The role involves leading planning meetings, managing CMMS plans, and driving continuous improvement for reliability and performance across the site.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience with maintenance planning and CMMS systems.
Strong organisational and IT skills with ability to manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
Coordinate preventative maintenance plans through the CMMS.
Align schedules with production plans to minimise downtime.
Lead weekly planning meetings and priority maintenance workloads.
Act as the link between Engineering, Production and Planning teams.
Identify gaps and improvement opportunities to enhance performance.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Support contractor management and ensure site standards.

We're looking for a proactive and organised Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team at Rogerstone Meals. If you thrive on planning, scheduling and driving equipment reliability within a fast-paced FMCG environment, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.

Working closely with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams, you'll be responsible for creating and managing maintenance plans that maximise uptime, improve performance and support world-class manufacturing standards.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage the site's maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
Coordinate preventative maintenance (PM) plans through the CMMS system.
Align maintenance schedules with production plans to minimise downtime.
Lead weekly planning meetings and prioritise maintenance workloads.
Act as the key link between Engineering, Production and Planning teams.
Identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities before they impact performance.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Support contractor management and ensure compliance with site standards.

What We're Looking For

Engineering or maintenance background, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
Experience with maintenance planning, CMMS systems and preventative maintenance.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong organisational, IT and stakeholder management skills
Ability to understand production plans and coordinate engineering activities accordingly
Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and challenges existing ways of working.
