Job summary

Michael Page is partnered with a leading recycling and resource recovery business in Nottinghamshire to recruit a Maintenance Planner for a busy industrial site. You will coordinate and optimize preventative maintenance, plan shutdowns and ensure work orders are executed efficiently.

You will leverage CMMS, manage labour, materials and contractors, track inspections, and generate KPI reports to drive safety and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Coordinator or Engineering Planner position.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, recycling, waste, production or industrial environments.
  • Strong CMMS knowledge and experience managing maintenance schedules.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Good understanding of maintenance processes and engineering operations.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting tools.
  • Experience producing KPI reports and analysing maintenance data would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive a proactive maintenance culture focused on safety and operational excellence.

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing maintenance activities across a busy operational site. Working closely with Engineering, Operations and Stores teams, you'll ensure maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled and resourced to maximise equipment reliability, improve compliance and reduce downtime.
