Job summary

Norse Group is seeking a Painter/Decorator to join our Norwich team. Based in Norwich, you will be responsible for painting and decorating building fabric and fire doors, ensuring high quality finishes within a facilities management context.

Role spans 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with on-call and potential nights/away from home as required. An enhanced DBS check is expected; benefits include a company van, pension and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in detailed PPM inspections, minor repairs and general building maintenance.
• Experience in a maintenance team in a commercial environment.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to participate in on-call, night and away-from-home work.

Responsibilities

• Paint and decorate building fabric and fire doors.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining records for statutory compliance.
• Liaise with the helpdesk to maximise efficiencies.
• Work at height and oversee sub-contractors.
• Communicate with customers and adapt to requirements.
• Schedule workload with local managers and customers.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, clean condition.
