Job summary

Roseberry Care Centres in North Shields is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Operative to keep our home safe and well maintained for residents and staff.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry tasks, conduct routine inspections, and respond to faults, with travel between on-site locations if required. A full UK driving licence is beneficial.

• Respond promptly to reported faults or emergency maintenance requests.
• Perform general handyman duties, including assembling furniture, moving equipment, and minor groundskeeping.
• Keep maintenance records and reports up to date.

Hours: 38.5 Hours/week

Your Role:

As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for general repairs, routine maintenance, and ensuring the home is compliant with health and safety regulations. Your role is essential in ensuring the home runs smoothly and safely on a day-to-day basis.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
