Job summary
The Housing Network is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative to join our Coventry-based team. You will perform responsive and planned maintenance across properties, ensuring safe, high‑quality accommodation for vulnerable residents.
The role involves travel within the region, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks, and upkeep of common areas. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a salary of £35,000 and benefits including a Blue Light Card
Qualifications
- Experienced maintenance operative in accommodation-based settings.
- Experience with responsive property and planned maintenance.
- DBS check required and eligibility to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive and planned maintenance in properties.
- Attend to void properties to restore to standard.
- Oversee maintenance of common areas and gardens.
- Perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks.
- Travel between properties within the region to carry out works.
