Job summary

Adecco is seeking a reliable Maintenance Operative to join our team in Coventry. This part-time role (25-35 hours per week) involves general maintenance and repairs across the building to keep facilities safe, functional, and well-presented at all times.

The successful candidate will undertake plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical tasks where appropriate, decorate as needed, and liaise with external contractors for specialist work, all while upholding health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general building maintenance and repairs.
• Undertake basic plumbing tasks such as replacing taps, fixing leaks, and unblocking sinks.
• Assemble and install flat-pack furniture.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance requirements.
• Perform minor decorating and handyman duties as required.
• Replace light fittings, bulbs, and carry out basic electrical maintenance where appropriate.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
• Liaise with external contractors when specialist repairs are required.
