Serco is seeking a Maintenance Operative to ensure all requested repairs, reactive or proactive and pre planned, are carried out to the required standard within SLA deadlines. The role covers the Wigan area with responsibilities including health & safety, material purchasing, and working in a team when needed.

You will need a full UK driving licence; a vehicle and tools are provided. The position offers a flexible pattern, with on-call duties periodically and a contributory pension.

Competenze

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Maintenance experience in joinery, plumbing, painting or decorating.

Mansioni

• Carry out reactive and pre-planned repairs to required standards and SLAs.
• Manage own workflow and work with the team when needed.
• Ensure health & safety of yourself and users during and after works.
• Purchase and manage materials using a company account card.
• Vehicles and tools provided; keep them clean and maintained.
