Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure Ltd in Southampton is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep our club’s facilities in top condition and ensure all equipment functions safely to provide an excellent member experience every day.

Applicants should have hands-on carpentry, plumbing or single-phase electrical skills, a Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar), and a full UK driving licence to travel between clubs. Strong engagement and active listening skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing or electrical work.
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar) required.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and be able to travel between clubs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure all club equipment is fully functional.
• Prioritise safety of members and colleagues at all times.
• Deliver an excellent member experience 7 days a week.

About you :

As a Maintenance Operative, we are looking for someone:

• Who has t echnical skills or discipline (i.e. Carpentry / Plumbing / Single Phase Electrics) – Essential
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar)
• A full driving licence or the ability to travel efficiently between clubs within your region
• S trong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
