Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep equipment in top working order and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members and colleagues.

You will service facilities, handle basic carpentry/plumbing/electrical tasks, and travel between clubs within your region. Strong communication and a proactive, hands-on approach are essential for delivering first-class experiences seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in carpentry, plumbing or electrical work are essential.
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar) required.
• Full driving licence or ability to travel between clubs within your region.
• Strong engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is fully functioning and safe for members and staff.
• Maintain club environment and uphold safety standards at all times.
• Travel between clubs within your region as needed.
• Contribute to delivering an excellent, welcoming member experience every day.

About You

As a Maintenance Operative, we are looking for someone:

• Who has technical skills or discipline (i.e. Carpentry / Plumbing / Single Phase Electrics) – Essential
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar)
• A full driving licence or the ability to travel efficiently between clubs within your region
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
