About The Role

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, and IT skills are preferred. You should communicate considerately and kindly with residents and co-workers.

Your responsibilities include ensuring our residents live in a well-maintained environment through proactive inspections, audits, and record-keeping. Tasks may involve replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, or decorating, always performed with kindness.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training and additional role-specific training is required, along with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
