Bauer Media Outdoor in Petersfield is hiring a Maintenance Operative to join the Delivery Team. You will maintain advertising units, bus shelters and billboards in Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas, with visits to the Petersfield depot.

The role includes painting, parts replacement, metal repairs, and occasional gardening, with on-call duties after training and a fully expensed company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Driving licence with no more than three points.
• Some experience using cordless hand tools.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Able to work successfully as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, carrying out physical tasks.
• Experience in a previous maintenance or stock management role would be preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance related repairs on advertising units, bus shelters and billboards.
• Paint, replace parts, metal repairs and occasional gardening work.
• Help Posting & Cleaning Team from time to time.
• Be on call rota after training and attend out of hours damages with applicable allowances and overtime.

What will the role involve?

You will be working with the maintenance team,completing all maintenance related repairsonour advertising units, bus shelters and billboards in and around the Brighton & Hove areas, with daily visits to our Petersfield Depot. Ensuring they are completed on time and to the service level agreements. As part of this role, you will provide a hands‑on service with various tasks including painting, replacing parts, metal repairs and occasional gardening work. You will alsohelp ourPosting & Cleaning Team from time-to time, ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and keeping the bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round.

We offer a salary of £30,600 plus an annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and some flexibility around working hours. As part of the maintenance team, after training, you would be required to be part of an on call rota for any out of hours damages, we offer attractive allowances and overtime rates for doing this.

You’ll be provided withoutdoor clothing and afully expensed Company Vehiclefor business use including commuting to and from the depot and to get around our different settings including busy shopping highs streets, residential areas, and rural areas.Dedicated training and supportwill be available to help get you started.
