£24,750 - £30,000 per annum + Vehicle + Excellent Corporate Benefits Package
Here at Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, including providing temporary accommodation.
Role Overview: As the Maintenance Operative, your role is crucial in ensuring all requested repairs—reactive, proactive, or pre-planned—are carried out to the required standard and within SLA deadlines.
Candidate Profile: This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with previous maintenance experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating, etc. You should be highly motivated, able to manage your workflow independently, and work effectively within a team when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Working Pattern: Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00, to meet operational needs.
On-Call & Out of Hours: Participate in rota-based out-of-hours on-call duties to provide 24/7 emergency cover as per contractual obligations.
