HC-One Maintenance Operative Role

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and ideally some IT skills. Communication skills should be considerate and kind, especially when interacting with residents and co-workers.

The role involves ensuring our Residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include carrying out audits, updating records, and performing maintenance tasks such as replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, or putting up wallpaper, always with kindness and professionalism.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns as needed.
