We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Operative with a passion for making a difference to others.

Ty Alarch is a six-bed community rehabilitation (Level 1) service for women who have progressed through the hospital pathway at Cygnet St Teilo House. We also accept referrals from other high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services and directly from the community. The service is now open and accepting referrals.

Your day-to-day…

• Provide a comprehensive maintenance and repair service
• Carry out tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting, and general building work
• Maintain plant, services, and vehicles
• Follow safe working practices and report faulty equipment and hazards
• Travel to other sites and be on call for emergency repairs outside normal hours
• Check fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices, and emergency lights

You are…

• Experienced in painting and decorating indoors and outdoors
• Willing to travel and hold a full valid driving licence
• Capable of communicating effectively and recording detailed maintenance information
• Skilled in DIY and general maintenance
• Preferably Level 2 Diploma qualified in Painting & Decorating or Maintenance
• Friendly, conscientious, a team player, and positive

Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
