About The Role

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, updating records, and performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating. A focus on kindness and consideration is essential.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Candidates must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All staff will receive safeguarding training relevant to their role and additional training as needed. The ability to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately is required.
