Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs in Hampton is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep our premium facilities in excellent condition. You will be responsible for carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks, ensuring all equipment operates safely for members and staff.

The role requires a Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar), a full driving licence, and strong communication and listening skills to coordinate across teams and locations.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in carpentry, plumbing or electricals.
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar).
• Full driving licence and ability to travel between clubs within the region.
• Strong engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to ensure full functionality and safety across the club.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to support guest satisfaction.
• Work across multiple areas to keep facilities safe and welcoming, seven days a week.

As a Maintenance Operative, we are looking for someone:

• Who has technical skills or discipline (i.e. Carpentry / Plumbing / Single Phase Electrics) – Essential

• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar)

• A full driving licence or the ability to travel efficiently between clubs within your region

• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
