  • Completing monthly water and electricity meter readings, emergency light testing and fire smoke head testing.
  • Maintaining communal and external areas, including jet washing, commercial window cleaning and seasonal upkeep.
  • Carrying out weekly play area inspections and supporting the upkeep of communal areas across the development.
  • Using onsite machinery to undertake communal carpet cleaning and completing other cleaning tasks as required.
  • Supporting contractors and maintenance colleagues, including assisting the electrician when required.
  • Monitoring equipment and stores through weekly audits and replenishing supplies as needed.
Essential Criteria

We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility for getting jobs done. You'll need:

  • A good practical knowledge of general maintenance, machinery, carpet‑cleaning equipment and power tools.
  • The ability to identify and resolve problems while following health and safety guidance, SOPs and risk assessments.
  • A resourceful, self‑motivated and flexible approach to your work.
  • The ability to work confidently on your own as well as alongside colleagues, contractors and other maintenance workers.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to support the wider team when required.
  • The physical capability to undertake a hands‑on role, including working with machinery and moving heavy equipment.
