About The Role

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with proven experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

As a Maintenance Operative, you will ensure our Residents live in a well-maintained and proactively inspected environment. Your responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining accurate records, and performing repairs such as replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, or decorating. Above all, kindness is essential in all interactions.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns as necessary.
