Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a Maintenance Officer to keep the home safe, well maintained and fully operational at all times.
This hands-on role covers repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep across the building and grounds, ensuring equipment and systems run safely and efficiently.
You will work with the Home Manager to plan maintenance, coordinate contractors, and uphold health and safety standards, with paid PVG, pension and uniform provided.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and fully operational at all times. This is a hands on role with responsibility, where your practical skills and proactive approach will directly support the safety, comfort and overall environment.
You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep. You will ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, identifying issues early and taking appropriate action.
Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will support maintenance planning, compliance checks and contractor coordination where required. You will help maintain a well organised, safe and fully functional environment, ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards.
