The Barnsdale in Rutland is seeking a highly energetic Maintenance Manager to keep our 46-bedroom hotel running smoothly. You’ll manage buildings, facilities, grounds and a busy kitchen area, coordinating contractors and prioritising safety and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Looking after buildings, facilities, grounds and car parks — ensuring safety, smartness and best presentation.
• Keeping on top of regular maintenance, inspections and essential minor tasks to prevent bigger problems.
• Coordinating contractors and tradespeople; ensuring standards and paperwork are kept up to date.
• Working with GMs and Facilities Manager to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Dealing with hotel teams, contractors, visitors and guests in a professional, helpful manner.
