Job summary

Kew Green Hotels in the UK is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our hotel maintenance across all guest and back-of-house areas. You'll manage a small team and external contractors to keep the property safe, compliant and fully operational, delivering reliable service for guests and colleagues.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to planning preventive maintenance, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge across general maintenance disciplines.
• Solid understanding of health, safety and compliance regulations.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors and maintenance programmes.
• Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance function across the hotel, ensuring safety and high standards.
• Manage maintenance team and external contractors to deliver quality work.
• Plan and deliver preventative maintenance programs and reactive repairs.
• Oversee maintenance projects and refurbishments with minimal guest disruption.
• Maintain records of maintenance activity, compliance checks and equipment performance.
