Job summary

Park Holidays UK Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations across the park, lead the maintenance team, and manage budgets, health and safety, and contractor liaison. The role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to high standards of park facilities and outdoor spaces.

You'll coordinate planned maintenance, supervise siting of holiday homes, and work with the Sales Manager to ensure smooth after-sales service, with DBS check required upon appointment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance management within a leisure/hospitality environment.
• Strong team management abilities: allocating workloads, training, motivating.
• Hands-on maintenance skills: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, plant/equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests, staff, contractors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks according to park agreements and regulations.
• Plan, prepare, and implement a proactive maintenance schedule for all plant, equipment, and facilities.
• Manage and allocate workloads for the maintenance team, provide guidance and training.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly checklists and inspect facilities for hazards.
• Coordinate movement of holiday homes with Sales Manager for timely completion.
• Supervise all siting activities, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Liaise with external contractors to oversee projects to high standards and safety regs.
• Monitor the budget for maintenance resources and control expenses.
• Ensure proper functioning of all plant and equipment and coordinate repairs.
