Maintenance Manager

Clacton-on-Sea

£40,000 + Subsidised On-Site Accommodation

We're recruiting for a hands‑on Maintenance Manager to lead a team of 15 at a flagship site in Clacton-on-Sea. This is a varied role where you'll oversee the maintenance of the site's facilities, accommodation and grounds, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 15 maintenance staff
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance
• Manage maintenance schedules, contractors and budgets
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Maintain high standards across the site

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Good all‑round maintenance knowledge
• Health & safety awareness
• Hands‑on approach

Working Hours

• March - October: 45 hours per week over 5.5 days
• November - February: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Standard hours are 8:00am - 6:00pm (1‑hour lunch)
