King's College London seeks a Facilities Engineering professional to oversee Hard Services and Fabric Maintenance across its estate. About Us
The King's Estates & Facilities Engineering Team manages reactive, planned and statutory maintenance in order to ensure King's remains one of the world's top Universities.
About the role
The effective delivery of Hard Services and Fabric Maintenance across designated buildings located within the KCL Estate, to specifically include the following:
This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
1. HND/HNC in Building Services
2. NEBOSH
3. English and Maths A-C GCSE or equivalent
4. Good verbal and written skills
5. Good level of computer literacy including Excel
6. Ability to prepare accurate reports and summaries
7. A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation
8. Extensive managerial experience
9. Budgetary management experience
10. Excellent leadership skills
Desirable criteria
1. Degree Qualified in Engineering or Facilities Management
2. Experience of working in critical engineering environments
