Join Our Team as a Maintenance Manager at RBH

We are seeking a confident and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations at The Met Hotel, Leeds, during a major refurbishment. This role involves overseeing all aspects of hotel maintenance, managing a small team, and ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Owning the entire hotel maintenance operation, including systems and spaces
• Leading a team of two technicians with purpose and pride
• Implementing proactive maintenance plans to minimize reactive repairs
• Collaborating with contractors and internal departments to support refurbishment and daily operations
• Managing maintenance budgets and ensuring health, safety, and compliance standards
• Regularly inspecting hotel areas to uphold standards
• Adopting new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability
• Fostering team development and maintaining a positive work culture

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in facilities or engineering leadership, preferably in hospitality
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compliance)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and contracts
• Practical problem-solving skills and flexibility for occasional emergency calls
